Bloomberg’s Chief Economist Tom Orlik will share the finding of the Drivers and Disrupters Index - a new way of defining country competitiveness in the global economy. Tom will also share Bloomberg Economics’ latest assessment of the outlook for global growth and the trade war.

Tom Orlik is the Chief Economist for Bloomberg Economics. He’s author of “Understanding China’s Economic Indicators” – a guide to China’s economic data. He is based in Washington DC following more than a decade in Beijing.

Visiting the Library for the first time?

The Commerce Research Library is located in the northwest corner of the building on the first floor, directly below the gym. It has two entrances. The entrance to the Reading Room (room 1894) can be accessed via the 8^th corridor elevator at the north end of the building. The entrance to the Business Library (room 1984) can be accessed from the 6^th corridor elevator.
